It has been going really well, but recently her dysphoria has increased, making her desperately wanting surgery to complete her transition.
After beginning her transition, Mylie became homeless and was fired from her job as a result. She has been in and out of prison for the last two years, where she was forced into a men’s prisons and bullied by the inmates and correctional officers. She was recently able to find shelter in November and was released from prison but is currently in a tough financial position and unable to find work. She would greatly appreciate any help you can offer to help her access these life-changing surgeries that will allow her to pursue and maintain a career.
The money will be used for hip, rib, and shoulder surgery in addition to laser hair removal treatments. Mylie explained that if she was never able to have access to these surgeries in her lifetime, she would feel miserable and regret her transition. These life-changing surgeries would complete her help her live her truth.
