Coach Dennis Carter is a leader of young men.  He inspires kids ages 11-20 by coaching the game of baseball.  Not only does he help kids in the local area get scholarships thru baseball, he's also established a scholarship fund in his home state of Mississippi for inner city youth. He encourages adults struggling with drug addiction and alcoholism.

A year ago Coach Carter was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.  He's currently going thru chemotherapy.

Coach Carter is very private and rarely asks for anything.  His favorite phrase since he was diagnosed has been "Giving God the Glory!"

Helping Coach Carter would mean alot to us.  He's coached all three of our boys in baseball along with hundreds of other young men.  He's always been firm, but fair....truthful and positive.  He's shown us how to be positive and encouraging even in when he's sick and not feeling good.  He prays over all his teams after games and practices.  He tries to lead by example.  He's a good man.
