My mom was diagnosed with Lupus almost 6 years ago. After a long hard journey, she found out that the word “lupus”’ was a Greek word, that meant to “SUFFER”’ and my God that’s exactly what it has caused my mom to do, SUFFER! Needless to say about 3yrs into her journey she was also diagnosed with interstitial lung disease, which was caused by the lupus, they say it has the ability to affect any organ it chooses. Through her battle she never gave up and she continues to to put her faith and trust in God. My mother has now been put on oxygen it’s been a year now, and has to undergo a bilateral lung transplant. Her medical records are like a thick book, because she has been in and out the hospital for the last seven years, her resources has been minimal to NONE! I am asking for all your help and support to help her through this hardship. If you have anything you can donate or anybody you no that wouldn’t mind donating, please feel free to pass the information around. After transplant she will be down for three months and want fully recover for about a year.
Medical needs are not cheap between office visits, labs, and often times week stays in the hospital requires her to miss work. When my mom isn’t working no money is coming in, which is why I’m asking for help. She’s the strongest woman I know but even the strongest need help.
I love my mother but she can't do it alone. Will you please consider donating to her quality of life. We love and appreciate anything you are willing to donate.
