I’m fundraising for myself after a car accident left me without transportation and unable to work. I was driving home from Kame House 174 at about midnight when my brakes failed as I was trying to turn, and I ran my car off the road into a pit. I feel okay physically, but my car was totaled, and that has turned into an immediate financial crisis for me.

Right now, the hardest part is that I don’t have a reliable way to make money. Without my car, I can’t work, and that has made it difficult to keep up with basic needs like rent and food. I’m also stressed about school and work because my class schedule does not line up with the bus I would need to take, so getting where I need to be has become a daily challenge.

The funds from this fundraiser will go first toward rent and food, and possibly a rental car while I try to get this situation figured out. Any help soon would make a real difference for me right now and give me some breathing room while I deal with the impact of losing my car.
