Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Lindsey, and my sister Jessica and I are looking for any- and all help available for our mother.

Everyone who knows her calls her Mimi, but to us she is Mom.

On the morning of Tuesday, October 28th, she suffered a stroke while getting ready for work. Thankfully she was on the phone with a friend, and they were able to call her an ambulance. They rushed her to the closest hospital, about 40 min away- where she was quickly admitted into the emergency room for treatment and testing.

Miraculously she has already been moved to a rehab facility, and is showing strong signs of recovery. We know this road will be a long and difficult battle for her.

She's worked as a home and business cleaner for most of her life, and everyone who knows her considers her, and trusts her, like family. She is one of the most hardworking, independent women on this planet, so this will be very difficult for her physically, mentally, and financially.

She has been through more than most people could handle in a lifetime, including losing my stepdad, the love of her life, in 2019.

She raised us both as a single mother, gave everything she possibly could, day in and day out. We are trying to do everything we can to ensure her comfort, safety and future as a whole is everything she deserves!

Thank you so much to the Doctors, nurses and EMTs who helped keep her alive- and strong through this very scary journey, and thank you to everyone who finds it in their hearts to help in this difficult time.
