Mickey was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in late August.  He is a young father of three boys, a loving husband to wife Heather, a hard working man, an amazing friend to many, and truly one of the "good" guys! 

He had surgery to remove his right kidney on 8/25/15 at MD Anderson.  Heather reported that he is doing well.  He is up talking, walking, and of course making all around him laugh with his wise cracks just a day after surgery!  The first major battle is now behind them and our ongoing prayers are needed to help them continue the fight.  After healing from surgery, he will then undergo treatment on the disease that spread to his lungs.
