HELP MICHELLE KNOCK CANCER OUT!
Meet my mother Michelle Reyes--devoted wife, green-thumb, and breast cancer survivor. To know her you will agree that she is one of the most outgoing, vibrant, positive people you'll meet. She is a strong mother, wife, and friend. She has always been a giver and has taken little or nothing in return.

Michelle’s Medical History
In 1994, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. Initially she had the tumor removed and underwent rounds of radiation. Within the same year, the cancer returned and she had to have a double mastectomy. After a long road to recovery she was finally cancer free--or so we thought.
In 2017, she had a growth the size of a golf ball removed from her right kidney and was in the hospital for four days recovering. Since the tumor was growing in the middle of her kidney, a biopsy was not possible. It wasn’t until after the tumor and part of her right kidney were removed that we learned it was benign. Even though it was not cancerous in the end, our family experienced the immediate fear of thinking her cancer had returned.
In 2018, things took a turn for the worst. After over two-decades living cancer-free, Michelle was diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer. Luckily for us, it was caught in an early stage and was expected to be treated with radiation and chemotherapy. After 10 weeks of treatment, a few more weeks of waiting for the full treatment to take effect, and another biopsy, we were told the cancer was still intact and she had to have surgery.
On March 12, she had a colectomy to remove the cancerous growth. The surgery was a success and the dime size tumor was removed and had not infected any other tissue. While in the hospital, she had some complications with eating and a PICC line to provide nutrients had to be inserted.
Michelle was finally able to leave the hospital after two-weeks, on March 27 and she will be recovering and out of work for 8 to 10 more weeks. She will also need medical supplies for the rest of her life. She has a very long road ahead, but she knows that "SHE'S got this" and "WE got this"!
We Need YOUR Help
Our family has been struggling to keep up with the growing medical bills and are asking for your help. We ask that if you can give, please do. There is no such thing as a small donation and every little bit is a blessing for her. She has touched so many with her kind heart and bright smile. It's now our turn to show her how loved she is and give her the added strength she needs to finally beat cancer for good.
