Help Michael Get Better and Stay in the Navy
Donation protected
I am writing this for my husband, Michael. A few years ago he suddenly began developing several symptoms. They were mild at first; a nonstop cough, occasional feeling of wheezy, difficult breathing, and constant congestion. They progressed gradually and eventually got so bad that he had to be airlifted home from an overseas deployment. Despite his primary care physician’s best efforts, his condition has not improved.
He is a healthy, nonsmoker, in his 20’s with 11 years service in the U.S. Navy; his condition is a mystery to him and everyone around him. I am hoping to raise money to send him to National Jewish Health, which is the number one ranked hospital for respiratory care, and specializes at finding underlying causes of symptoms similar to my husbands.
His cough and congestion are never ending, on a daily basis they severely effect his quality of life. The medications prescribed to him don’t offer any relief. He is constantly in discomfort, and his condition has progressed to the point of the Navy finding him unfit to continue his service. Being treated by professionals specializing in respiratory care could lead to getting his life back.
