Earlier this year in January 2026, I started a GofundMe for my 50th birthday. In lieu of gifts, I requested donations to assist with tuition assistance for various courses I wanted to take.

Since that time, I have successfully completed a Personal Development Course and Ministerial Bridge Program with the Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development. In the fall of 2026, I will begin their Spiritual Life Coaching Program which will further prepare me for the development of my whole-person coaching program.

Currently, I am launching my nonprofit, Velo Vybe. Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals through cycling, community engagement, and purpose-driven initiatives. Initially, Velo Vybe began as a space for women who were constantly showing up for everyone else, but needed a place to show up for themselves. However, over time, I realized that this need is not limited to women.

So many people are carrying stress, trauma, grief, and emotional weight in silence. Because of my own experiences and the work I have done throughout my career, I feel especially called to serve veterans, individuals impacted by cyber harassment, and incarcerated or formerly incarcerated individuals. These are communities that have shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, accountability, and restoration.

This month, Velo Vybe will host its' first ride in support of Mental Health Awareness Month affectionately titled "Ride and Release." The premise of this ride is to encourage individuals to release emotional weight, self-limiting beliefs, or anything that may be keeping you stuck or stagnant.

In order to fulfill our mission, your support is needed so that Velo Vybe can begin the business of changing lives. Every donation helps Velo Vybe move from vision to impact. Your support will help us build the foundation needed to serve the community well—from website development and registration systems to ride expenses, safety equipment, insurance, permits, hydration, first-aid supplies, marketing, outreach, program materials, administrative costs, and trauma-informed wellness resources.

It will also help support youth-centered initiatives connected to my children’s book, "Kacey Rides a Bike," the publishing of my book, and future programming for women, veterans, cyber victims, justice-impacted individuals, and underserved communities. Velo Vybe was created to remind people that movement can restore more than physical health—it can help rebuild confidence, connection, purpose, and community. Please see our website at : www.velovybe.org.

We are grateful to share that Velo Vybe is now a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is registered to solicit charitable contributions in Maryland. Your support will help us continue building movement-based wellness programs rooted in healing, community, and restoration. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
