Help Matt Heal

Update: As his sister Nicole said, "...after fighting The Good Fight for over two and a half years, (her) dear brother Matt took his final breath. Though we are left here with so much sorrow, there is consolation in knowing that Matt is no longer in pain. Even though we feel his absence so profoundly, (we) know he is praying for us with the saints in heaven.

There are no words to express the goodness, kindness and ferocity of Matt's love for his family. He fought tooth and nail through the hell that is cancer, for every last minute with his wife and girls."

This fund will be used to help with meals and arrangements. Any additional funds that are collected will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. 



Hi everybody! Several people have asked about how they can help Matt, Erin, Nina and Ari.  You can help by saying prayers, offering encouragement via text, facebook, cards, and notes. You can also help by using Go Fund Me to help them with traditional and alternative health care costs and related travel as they continue on their journey of Matt's healing. In case you don't know, they are living in Philadelphia. Nina is 3 and she became a big sister on July 13 when Ariana was born. Life has been pretty hectic and overwhelming for the Distasio family. Very recently, Matt has been diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer. Let's pull together to support Matt, Erin, Nina, and Ari.
