Help Mason get well
Donation protected
Our beloved Cane Corso, Mason, has fallen extremely ill very suddenly. He cannot stand or walk, but is still eating and wagging his tail vigorously. As of now, we still aren't entirely sure what's wrong with him. He has seen a team of board certified specialists who believe it may be hemangiosarcoma, which is a very aggressive form of cancer that forms in the lining of blood vessels. The doctors have recommended a biopsy, which we are getting, and an MRI to see which, if any, organs are affected and to what extent. If we are unable to complete any further testing and diagnostics, they are recommending euthanasia, which to us right now IS NOT an option! We are willing to try and do whatever it takes to save our fur baby, especially as we believe that this could be something else entirely. (Such as a spinal injury, bacterial infection, or a neurological issue, among many other possibilities.) This MRI will not only help us determine what it is that is giving him the paralysis and if and how we are able to save him. If you could please help us on this journey we would be eternally grateful. Anything and everything helps, shares and prayers also!! Thank you all so much for your support and we will be posting updates as we get them.
