Mason is suffering from "plural effusion" and has had many complications along the way. The specialists caring for him believe a foxtail was stuck in his coat and migrated through his skin, muscle and into his chest cavity. This foxtail had bacteria on it and has caused toxic, infected fluid to flood his chest cavity. Mason is only 3 years old and adores his family, as they do him. This freak accident has left Mason's many friends and family pulling all of the funds possible to get him through this but it is still not enough. For any dog lover out there who's pets are family, we ask you to help in any way you can. The vet's are hopeful and Mason has a chance to make it through this and we can't give up on him now.
