Marvel was brought to the shelter on 10/07/2014 with what looked like wounds from being thrown from a car. Marvel was immediately taken to Waipahu Waikele Pet Hospital.
After an exam, it was determined that he has a right comminuted femoral head fracture (see X-ray images) and his skin scrap confirmed Demodex mange. His veterinary team decided to treat him for his Demodex until he is stable enough for the surgery to repair his fracture.
His initial exam cost $431.95. The estimate for his next surgery shows that it will cost approximately $1993.00 and the Oahu SPCA need your help to help Marvel.
