Please Help Marcie Heal

Dear sweet friends, family and community, firstly, I want to start by sending you my love and compassion. It is not my nature to ask for anything, I grew up in a family where subtlety, was prized and I know we are all going through something.

For the past 10 days or so I have been at home writhing in terrible pain. I did go to the hospital and they sent me home. As I am without insurance at the present time, this incurred a large bill. I have managed to get insurance, which I should have soon, I hope, but it comes with a $1400 deductible, which will be added to the already mounting charges I owe. Besides that I have credit card bills that have been lingering for years, that are pretty daunting.

Even though I’m so uncomfortable asking, I’m going to put myself out there because I don’t know what else to do. I really need help with incoming medical bills and paying my day today expenses and paying back what I already owe. If you can spare it, I would really appreciate your help. I have been helping my mother with her health issues and caretaking for her part of each week, but cannot be there for her right now.

If you’ve known me a long time, you know my family has been through the wringer. My father was shot in the face by Crips gang members 13 years ago. (kind of crazy, I know!) This trauma has overshadowed my family and depleted funds that once were more abundant. Since that incident I have spent my life learning about various healing modalities to grow through my own fears and traumas and to help others lead happier lives as well.

Most days my phone doesn’t ring and I am alone and could really use some financial help and maybe a friendly hello.
