Hi there human, my name is Magnus. Im an 8 year old French Bulldog. I like long walks on the beach, love cheese, speak 3 languages, and live for eating bamboo leaves on my walks. I also have an annoying little brother named Rugger, I'm obssesed with this cool pumpkin squeaky toy my owner Damian got me, and today I found out that I have K9 Lymphoma. Not the kind of Thursday I wanted but hey that's life am I right?? Anyone? Ok that joke killed in Denver but I digress. As many of you may or may not know Lymphoma is a type of cancer that effects the body's lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is part of the circultory system and a vital part of the immune system. Well my lymphatic system is all full of cancer and I'm trying to get rid of it. Luckily my cancer is a very common, very survivable kind in which 90% of dogs go into to remission for a year or more! Now I'm only a dog but I've gotta tell you I like those numbers. My treatment will consist of four 5 week rounds of chemotherapy including shots, pills, and IVs. The good thing is that chemo for us dogs is way easier than you amazing humans have to endure if you get cancer. In fact only 10-15% of dogs get any adverse effects from treatment! Did I mention how great you look right now? I always say how I love you to every dog I meet actually. Well the reason I'm telling you this (which is super hard because typing with fat dog feet is very difficult on a standard keyboard) is because this treatment that I just told you about is pretty expensive. The guy I live with named Damian (who is AMAZING by the way) told me that he doesn't have the money to get all the meds that I need. Now again I'm simply a happy, loving, non math using dog and I don't really know what money is, but I know what love is and Damian definitely has a lot of that for me I can tell you that! So whatever this "money" is give a lot of it to whoever gives me this magical treatment because I really don't want to die. In fact Im writing a book and I need at least 2 more good years. TRUST ME when this book comes out you be like "man what a good book Im so glad we gave money to Magnus that time because this book is so worth it!!!". BTW what is a "book"?
