Please help our beautiful Mac

I've made this campaign on behalf of my boyfriend Zane, Mac's human dad.

The past few months have been extremely stressful on Zane, finanically and emotionally. In preparation for an amazing new job overseas, he had quit his job here. He spent all his time preparing to move to another country.
Then just a week before he left, his and his family's life was turned upside down when a member of his family unexpectedly passed. 
Zane now had to struggle to take care of himself and his family, while still without work here in the states, and unsure if he'd be going oversees at all.
Life was extremely stressfull, and he was struggling to make ends meet. 
Just as he was starting to get things in order again, Mac had his run-in with a very dangerous piece of thread.

Since Zane is still working and hoping to get the job overseas, and still struggling to pay bills, any little bit that you would be able to donate would be greatly appreciated!!

***A week ago, we noticed our normally very energetic, friendly, loveable Mac had stopped eating or drinking. He lost a few pounds, and his dad had to take him to the vet a few times, but they couldn't find anything wrong with him.
On Tuesday, they discovered a thread that he'd eaten, stuck in his throat. Although they loosened the thread, and his intestines didn't look too bunched up,he continued to get worse.
The 4th vet visit we decided to do emergency surgery, his intenstines were looking worse.
He is out of surgery and back home now, trying to recover and we hope his insides are on the mend as well.
