In the midst of 2015,  I went to a ear nose and throat doctor to get my nose looked at. While checking me over,  the doctor glanced at my mom and saw she had some type of mass in her neck. Later when  we went to get the mass removed  (she had already had a heart attack in 2004)  she  was required to go to the heart doc , before it could be removed. She went and found out that her heart turned out to be very unhealthy .In Dec 2015, she had to have stints placed in her heart and had angioplasties(I believe it is called.) After the surgery and she went home,  we thought we were in the clear. On April 23rd 2016 around 6:30a.m.,  my mom woke me up and said we needed to go to the hospital because she was having horriable chest pains.  While in the Emergency Room, we found out that she was going to have to have another round of angioplasties(again , I believe that's what it is called). We also found out while at the hospital,  that she had had another heart attack and that the arteries to her heart (that she had just had taken care of the previous December) were 80, 90 and 99% clogged and that the only thing that could be done to save her life was open heart surgery. My mom has been a single mom, raising 3 children  and has had quiet a few health issues (diabeties as well as the heart attack in 04). She is also self employed, so she doesn't have good health insurance and can't afford all the care she needs. My family is helping, and doing all that we are able to do. She had to be moved to another hospital to have the surgery and was not able to afford all that was done.  The commercial comes to mind about (her surgery). There is no monetary value to place on it, except to say that it was PRICELESS! She would not be here today, if it were not for all of the doctors and staff that have helped her get her to the point that she is today. She is now at home and has come a long ways, but still has a long ways to go. She will not be able to work for a few months,  while she is healing and working on her strength.  As I am 18 with 2 part time jobs I can't afford to help much. We would appreciate any help you could possibly give  to enable our mom to get back on her feet, get stronger, healthier and start back to work. The medical bills are piling up, as well as the usual monthly bills (food, house payments, insurance, utilities, car payment).  Any amount you can give would be VERY appreciated! Thank you so much.(my mother is next to me 2nd from the left) this is all for my mom Lori Ann Morehead/ Conley
