Lillian Maring's burn recovery fund

While getting her new home move-in ready on April 17, 2018, Lillian Maring was involved in a traumatizing accident in which she was momentarily set aflame due to aerosol paint fumes, consequently suffering first and second degree burns to her arms and hands. Thanks to the quick action of friends and family on site she was spared from far worse circumstances. It has been an immensely difficult time for her and her immediate circle of support as she has relied heavily on their assistance while between homes for the last two weeks. Lili has been incredibly resilient and the whole experience has been a testament to the strength that she has to thrive in the most difficult of times. However, she is still stuck with a tremendous burden. This Gofundme has been created as a means to lift some of that burden and give her some peace of mind to focus on the most vital aspects of her healing process.  At this point, Lili and Ange are recruiting help of friends and family to do the work they had planned to do themselves before their now-past move in date of May 1st.  There hasn’t been time nor adequate space to focus on simply recentering and healing herself.

The real cost of this accident is pretty hard to pinpoint. The goal posted is a loose and low estimate on what the actual cost of all expenses involved are. While her skin continues to heal and she regains use of the fingers that were badly burned, she continues to experience bouts of extreme fatigue and anxiety. We hope to attribute the funds raised to cover medical costs, provide compensation for missed work, and help pay for products and services to aid in her revitalization, physical and otherwise.

Up until this point, it has been utter chaos since the accident. Any and all donations will be appreciated and will collectively go a long way towards Lili's longterm recovery. My hope for Lili is for her to see how much love and support she has from her community, and for it to reflect back to her all the love and care she's continually shown for those around her. Most of all, I want Lili to receive the assistance she needs throughout this difficult time.
