Hey guys!! I'm Lexie (or Alex, depending on when you met me lol) and I’m currently living in Tampa, FL. How’d I get here? Glad you asked. After graduate school, I found a job in the sunny state of Florida and so I moved! Woohoo!

The sun & sand have been great, but there have been difficulties living here as well. :( After losing my job, I’ve struggled to pay rent + student loans+ food and everything in between, because the cost of living here is so high! I've had moments where my electricity and phone were cut off (who knows the struggle lol) and it’s been challenging to stay on top of things.

I currently work two jobs, one as a temp and another as an Uber driver, while I look for permanent work, but a lot of the permanent jobs I’ve interviewed for pay well below the cost of living here, and the struggle is REAL!

Because I haven’t been able to find adequately paid employment, I have to break my lease and move by July 1.
However, I can’t break the lease because I’m working as a temp so I am not making enough to pay the fees and pay the bills, but I ALSO can’t maintain my apartment, why? You guessed it because I’m working as a temp. 

So you see the conundrum I am in.

So my awesome cousin suggested that I ask family & friends for help  and at first, I wasn't sure if I could really do that. I know that many people are struggling, just like me, and I enjoy working hard to take care of myself. However, I've hit the point where I at least have to give this a try because I have to find a solution because I simply cannot afford to keep putting myself deeper and deeper into a bad situation. :(

So if you're able to help me in anyway....I would TRULY TRULY appreciate it.

$600 for uhaul, moving fees, packing utilities like boxes and tape, gas money to travel, and any other unexpected moving expenses.
