Help Lay Terry to Rest

Donation protected
This page has been created in hopes of helping raise enough funds to ease the stress of laying Theresa "Terry" Owen beloved mother of three (Zack, Nicholas, & Charlie) a sister, daughter, Aunt and Great Aunt to her final resting place. It's never easy to say your final goodbyes to someone you couldnt imagine living your life without. The stress of the expenses in planning for this can leave you feeling hopeless and wondering how you and your family could ever come up with enough funds to give a final goodbye good enough to honor a woman loved by so many, whose time was cut short after battling Pancreatic Cancer for 3 years.

The family and son's of Theresa "Terry" Owen also hope to help raise awareness and honor the lives of those who have lost a battle or those who continue to battle Pancreatic Cancer. No amount donated is too small, anything helps, if any extra funds remain after expenses for Terry's funeral and burial have been paid it will be donated by Terry's family to her Church and to Pancreatic Cancer Research in honor of Terry, as this represents a way of paying forward the help received and also to honor the selfless way Terry lived her life.

If you are unable to help in donating funds please help by sharing this link with all your family and friends on Facebook. To raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer please change your profile picture on facebook of you wearing purple, or of a purple ribbon (Purple= Pancreatic Cancer) and also add the link to this page to help Terry's family.

Terry was a loving woman and she lived her life in a way that she inspired and touched everyone who knew her. Terry fought for 3 years and received a debilitating and aggressive chemotherapy at MGH in Boston from some of the greatest physician's in the country. Terry defyed the odds she was up against in fighting and progressing through treatment for 3 years. Originally she was told she had 6 months left to live at the time she was diagnosed. The last thing Terry wanted to do was leave behind her children and family along with any financial burden or stress over funeral and burial services. Instead of Terry spending time preparing for death she lived her life and held onto her faith and trust in the Lord and never gave up or complained. Sometimes when unexpected things happen in life and time is cut short, it's more important to live, love, and laugh with loved one's while you still have the time.

***Again, any help great or small is very much appreciated by Terry's son's and family.
