Help Kurt Replace His Stolen Trumpet

Music has always been at the core of who I am. Unfortunately, in September 2023, my primary trumpet—a vital part of my life and career—was stolen from my home. Other instruments from my collection were also taken, but my focus now is replacing the trumpet, as it’s essential for my upcoming Doc Severinsen Johnny Carson Tribute performances starting in 2025.

I need a Schilke X4, a professional-grade trumpet that costs nearly $5,000 with tax, shipping, and warranty. I placed an order earlier this year and will need to finalize the payment soon.

Why can’t I afford it on my own?

Over the past two years, I’ve dedicated my savings and time to rescuing animals in dire need. This includes emergency vet bills, food, and care for:

Brigitte & Colette – Orphaned 4-week-old puppies I adopted in 2022.
Luna & Honey – Rescued in 2023.
Oscar – A dog I saved from a life-threatening attack just last week, hopping a fence at 3 a.m. to intervene. His recovery costs are ongoing.

Caring for these animals has been a calling, but it has left me financially drained. Every time I save, an emergency arises, and I find myself back at square one.
