On March 18th 2018, around 2am Kipp Nichols was headed home on the 202 when a wrong way driver collided with him head on. Kipp's vehicle rolled 3 times, and the impact killed the wrong way driver at the scene. He was rushed to Scottsdale Osborn ICU. He is lucky to be alive, but still suffered a broken femur, broken hips, and a collapsed lung.
Kipp, a Marine, had recently started a new job, and unfortunately better insurance had not yet kicked in from the company. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Between medical expenses and physical therapy, every amount large or small helps. He would like to thank everyone who visited him at the hospital, and who has helped since the accident.
His club, The Loose Cannons Motorcycle Club will be holding a benefit car/bike wash party at The Monastery in Mesa Arizona on Sunday May 6th @ 1pm to help raise money for him and his family and hopefully raise some awareness for the increasing problem of Wrong Way Drivers in Arizona.
