Back in December, Kim was making plans to surge forward in 2018 with a renewed focus her career, life, and health. What started off as a normal day ended up with a mysterious severe abdominal pain, and being rushed in an ambulance to the hospital. After several hospital visits and numerous diagnostic procedures, the doctors found the cause of her troubles. A very large mass has been growing in her abdomen, and required major surgery to remove. Her surgery took place last week, February 8th, and she is grateful to have had a very reputable surgeon.
Due to the extensive nature of the surgery, Kim is looking at a long recovery time. Also, because she has been dealing with all of this since mid December, it has not been possible for her to continue with a normal work schedule. Not being able to work while waiting for surgery has been financially devastating. Rent, utilities, etc. have continued to accumulate. While she does have medical insurance and is very grateful for it, the bills she’s facing are substantial. Plus, after surgery she’s facing a long recovery time, and may need to hire extra help to help her get over the hump, so to speak.
