35 year old Kendra Gamble was a victim to a senseless shooting at a cemetery, as she, along with her 5 year old nephew, attended a funeral service for a beloved friend and her nephews father.
Kendra is a small business owner and a great friend to the community who often helps youth and folks in need by gifting services and providing school supplies and back pack giveaways with her own funds.
Kendra was flown from Racine by Flight For Life to ICU in Milwaukee where she spent weeks recovering and beginning the painful task of relearning to walk and use the injured leg as well as processing the trauma that was experienced at the cemetery.
Kendra will have many expenses- medical and personal that she will not be able to fund without the communities help
she cannot go run her salon or sale clothes
she must stay at home and at 35 relearn how to walk
and manage the anxiety, the paranoia and the constant panic attacks,
medical bills and equipment, physical therapy and mental health help.
