HELP--Ken's battle against Terminal Brain Cancer
Donation protected
My high school sweetheart, my husband, father of 2 boys, high school lacrosse coach, amazing friend and mentor to many.
Kenneth was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer, in October 2018. The prognosis for this disease was 12-18 months, with only about 5% surviving up to 5 years. That was the hardest thing we thought we would ever hear. Over the last two years fighting this disease, we have been so fortunate that Kenneth has been able to work full time without any physical or cognitive limitations. He has really beat the odds--and we know he will keep fighting. Our God is bigger than this little cancer. Kenneth has been through 2 brain surgeries, 2 rounds of brain radiation, and multiple rounds of chemotherapy, all while continuing to work full time. No matter how tired or sick he felt.
This last round of radiation and chemotherapy has left him with some physical and coginitive limitations, that have made it difficult for him to continue working. While we are hoping and praying that this is temporary, and that he can go back to work one day, we are preparing for the chance that it might not be possible.
You are never really prepared for a terminal illness, physically, emotionally, or financially. We believe in the power of prayer. We believe in the power of community. We are not too proud to ask for help, because in doing so, we hope to give strength and hope for others who feel like they are fighting alone. We have been blessed to have an army of friends and family surround us during this difficult time. And we could never thank you enough.
How you can help:
Pray for our family (healing, comfort, and strength)

Much love to you all--
