Help Keith Kick Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tyler Gaigalas, I am Keith Phillips nephew and am trying to help Keith and his family during this difficult time. My mother and I are raising money for Keith and his family to help lift the burden of medical bills and daily costs while him and his wife are out of work for Keith’s recovery period.
For the ones who do not know Keith, Keith Phillips is the fire Captain at Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department and has volunteered in Carroll County Maryland for over 26 years with various fire companies. Keith has also volunteered and worked for various companies in Carroll County for approximately 20 years. Keith is currently a Carroll County 911 dispatcher and has been employed with the county for over 18 years. Keith has dedicated his life educating, protecting and serving the citizens of Carroll County and the surrounding communities. He has spent his entire life giving back, helping, and supporting others he did and didn’t know. But now, he and his family need your help and support.
Keith was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and had surgery in March 2018 to remove the tumor. The surgery went well, but some unexpected biopsy results of grade IV brain cancer was diagnosed. Keith is not able to work and has limited sick leave through the county. Keith’s wife Laurie has already exhausted her leave and is currently not receiving a pay check due to the time required to support and care for her husband. Keith and his wife Laurie have four loving, supportive children ages 15-21 who contribute anyway they can. Keith is home and has recently started daily radiation and chemotherapy treatment which requires daily transportation to and from appointments. The treatments will continue over the next several weeks.
We are asking friends, family, and the community whom Keith has served for your prayers and support through this challenging time. Thank you in advance for any financial gift you may be able to offer to help Keith fight this cancer.
No One Fights Alone! Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.
As Keith says “THAT IS ALL”
Thank You!
