Kathleen (Kate) Johnson needs our help. Diagnosed with cancer over two years ago, she has been fighting valiantly as only Kate can do. 

Kate was recently advised that her traditional medical treatments are at this point causing more harm than good. She has moved from a skilled nursing care rehab facility to a temporary facility until her own apartment can be equipped with the necessary alterations making it safe for her. She is receiving and responding positively to supportive alternative modes of treatment such as energy work, meditation and herbal and holistic remedies. She has a private medical attendant on a daily basis as well as nurses and therapists provided by Hospice.



Kate has been there for so many of us and produced work that has supported us all, often spending her famous “all-nighters” creating extraordinary productions demonstrating her unequaled artistry. We all know Kate to be the extraordinary artist who continually "does the impossible" to "complete impossible projects."  Now it is our turn to be there for her.   At this time she unable to work in order to generate an income for herself. In short, she needs our financial help. 


She is in need of:

        1)      Medical Attendants
        2)      Holistic Treatments and Practitioners not paid by Hospice
        3)      Prescription costs not covered by insurance
        4)      Meals, and temporary lodging until she can return home
        5)      Normal bills and home maintenance in light of her inability to work.

While the total amount she needs will remain unknown, we are suggesting a fund-raising goal of $50,000 so that she can have the care that she needs, and deserves. We are hoping that you can show your support of our friend, Kate Johnson, who has done so much for us all.
