My mom always said , “ the worst answer someone can give is no but then again they could also say yes” .This is a simple enough phrase, yet very profound. Basically, in life you must seek out what you want and deserve in order to truly receive it.
I am asking for assistance. My name is Kalsie King. The assistance am seeking is to help me to be able to study abroad in South Korea, in the year 2019 or 6 months. I am an 20 year old African American college student from Boston, MA. My top priority
in life has always been to help others through
my Clothing Drive that I started 5 years ago, I am also in between the process of establishing a scholarship for the students that are less fortunate at the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics & Science. I volunteer at Circle of Hope, Family Movement and other charity organizations throughout
the year.
I am currently a junior at Simmons College where I am majoring in Education and minoring in Japanese. I love working with kids. I also enjoy anime, watching movies, spending time with my family and learning about different cultures. I am pursuing
a career in education because I have a dream of helping students in the USA and other countries to find the fun in learning and reaching their goals.
I was honored as Celtics Hero among us, I was also feature in the Mayor Walsh inaugurator speech of 2016.
My family and I have worked as a team to fund all of my college expenses that my scholarship does not cover. The study abroad program is not covered by my scholarship. At this time, in order for me to reach my goal of studying abroad, I just need some assistance.
Whatever aid you can donate to my cause would be a GREAT blessing. We all have those moments where we need assistance. Let’s see to it that I can go to South Korea. Please feel free to review some of the coverage of my foundation that I started https://youtu.be/qtch4FPcbPg, http://www.wcvb.com/news/hardings-heroes-kalcie-king/37890274. My family and I both appreciate ANY consideration that you can give to this request.
