I'm Kailyn and I have been suffering with Long Covid symptoms since summer of 2021. After 4 years of medical racism, neglect, and gaslighting I found out earlier this month that I have discoid lupus due to an autoimmune disorder. I have been denied disability due to a racist medical professional and cannot work while acclimating to medications for mental health and need aid in finding solutions for my new diagnosis.

UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 16th 2024: I tested positive for COVID-19 this morning.

I know and have seen fundraisers triple to quadruple funded but, it's barely people who look like me or who are more marginalized than me.

Funds will be used for medical care and other expenses for my security and safety navigating this journey.

Update: Last night May 7th, I took an expired test and got a positive for COVID. And today May 8th, I confirmed it.

November 2024: My fundraiser needs to be fully funded in order for me to continue finding the safe healthcare and staff to assist me. I have been through immense anti Blackness, racism, and an unsafe living environment that has left my immune system lower than it was 6 months ago.
