Need Assistance With Bills Due to Health Issues

Donation protected
Hello, I'm Justin Vasquez, and I'm here humbling asking for help to pay for my family's bills until I can receive payment from SSI Disability. Currently, I have an attorney which is helping facilitate this process, but the absolute earliest we would receive back payment and payments would be September 2019, or at latest October 2020 (18 Months).

So, why am I asking for help?  Two years ago on January 23rd, 2017, I was hospitalized due to an infection and Abscess caused by Crohn's Disease.  I've had Crohn's Disease since I was 12 years old (currently 38) and this was the worst issues I've had caused by my disease.

This hospital stay caused me to have why would be a temporary Colostomy Bag.  I was discharged from the hospital 2 weeks later with I.V. Antibiotics to try and remove the infection and get on the path to recovery.

After 6 months with a Colostomy Bag, my surgeon and G.I. Doctor agreed we could reverse the temporary Colostomy Bag. In September, we had 90% of our belongings destroyed by Hurricane Ike, and were able to replace some items thanks to donations during that time. Two weeks after Hurricane Ike, I went into the hospital to have the Colostomy Bag reversal.

My surgery was on Monday, and that following Friday (4 days later), as I was being prepped for hospital discharge, it was found that the surgery failed causing leakage of bowel fluids to go directly into my body and cause another abscess and infections.

Two more surgeries to drain these fluids happened on Friday and the following Monday, and I would have to be transferred into a Long-term healthcare facility and remain there until Mid-November, with the hope the drainage would stop and heal.

Unfortunately, I was sent home with one J.P. Drain and this would remain attached to me until February 2018. This became an issue and had to be removed immediately due to complications leaving annopen would draining until surgery in July 2018.

I would be hospitalized in April 2018 and again in July 2018 with 2 more abscesses which formed with more fecal matter/fluid leaking through my skin.

Eventually, my new surgeon had to perform a long surgery to give me a permanent Colostomy Bag which I now have for the rest of my life. I dropped down to 145 pounds (previously 185 pounds) at 6 feet tall. I had lost almost all my muscle mass and weight from being hospitalized as well as unable to move or eat much. They gave me I.V. nutrients which they called T.P.N. That's looked like Gatorade in a giant bag.

The doctors stated it would be 3-6 months to heal and 6-12 months to rebuild my muscle mass back to where I was.

My hope was to work on getting better and try and go back to work, but I'm unable to go back to work full time as I worked prior.

I am asking for your help to pay for bills we currently have (mostly maxed Credit Card bills we used to pay for hospital stay, surgeries and other medical fees - the rest were sent as Collections on my Credit Report) so we can continue without filing Bankruptcy until I can get on disability and find a part time job so I can at least get out to work a bit.

I've tried to handle this on my own, my wife is the only income we currently have and my In-laws have allowed us to stay at their home to have a roof over our heads. We are fortunate that we don't have children currently, though we were wanted to try prior to the health issues and hopefully once things change we can again.

If you're unable to help, please share this with people you know and ask them to do the same.

Any little bit helps and I appreciate your time in looking into this. Thanks  for all your time.
