A house fire due to electrical malfunction and government negligence burned down the home of my uncle Juan and 3 year old nephew Dylan. Juan was able to get his wife to safety and bravely went back into the burning home to save his grandson Dylan. The fire grew too intense to escape so Juan protected Dylan with wet towels while waiting for help.

The smoke rendered them unable to breathe and eventually claimed both of their lives. Juan was found hugging Dylan, protecting and comforting his grandson until the very end. This tragedy has left Dylan's big brother, mother, and grandmother homeless, heartbroken, and traumatized. Please help our family rebuild my great grandmother's home which we have lived in for 5 generations. Donations will also go to the funeral costs of our brave family hero Juan and our sweet, smart, and loving baby Dylan. Both treasured lives which we lost too soon.
