Help Josey Hear

Josey Schad is the son of  Shannon and Teresa Schad. He is a happy, energetic 16 month old. Josey has two older brothers and an older sister. By six months of  age, it was determined that Josey had severe/profound hearing loss. Even with hearing aids, Josey cannot hear. Josey is in need of cochlear implants. He continues to wear hearing aids to keep his auditory nerves stimulated because if the nerve dies implants will not work. The cost of  the procedure has been estimated to be $70,000 per ear. The parents are not receiving help from insurance and they've sought out other means of assistance, but they have not had any luck. This gofundme account is being setup in conjunction with a local benefit to be held to help Josey. The benefit will be held September 19th, 2015 at Centennial Hall in Lindsay, TX.
