We’re raising funds for John, a member of Asheville’s LGBTQIA+ community, who urgently needs support.

Over the past several years, John has endured an overwhelming series of hardships. A traumatic brain injury from a car accident left him with lasting neurological symptoms. Since then, he’s also lost both of his parents and has been navigating significant mental health challenges. Most recently, he lost his job, leaving him unable to pay for rent, necessary medical care, or basic needs.

He is now facing the very real threat of homelessness if evicted.

We’re trying to raise $8,000 to help cover back rent and essential car repairs as he looks for new employment, but we need at least $3,500 by Monday, 6/9, to prevent immediate eviction.
