Jessica is a Massage Therapist at Potosa Spa here in Dubuque, she is the light in everyone's day and always has a smile to share to brighten your day. Jessica has recently suffered some severe medical setbacks that sent her by med flight to Iowa City intensive Care on April 4th. She is suffering from a very aggressive bacterial infection. She has had to have tissue removed from her shoulder, bicep and chest area. She is on strong pain medications as well as IV antibiotics.The doctors are keeping a close eye on the infection to see if it is spreading, they have not ruled out a second surgery to remove more tissue. She most recently had to have a feeding tube inserted and now the doctors are worried about pneumonia. She has a very long road to recovery and her medical expenses are piling up very quickly. Bills at home have now fallen onto the shoulders of her mother Tracy, who is also employed at Potosa Spa.
