On June 17th 2016, our beloved friend Jessica Romero was diagnosed with Stage II cervical cancer. Over the last couple of months, she had been dealing with severe abdominal pain. She sought medical attention from her primary care physician and several visits to ER however was never given any answers. She was misdiagnosed several times and sent home with pain medication. It wasn't until she walked out of work on June 16th in tears and drove herself to University Hospital ER where she was admitted and given the unfortunate diagnosis of cervical cancer.

Jessica is a mother to 4 beautiful girls and is a loving girlfriend to Eric. Jessica loves spending time with her family, especially watching her daughters play sports. Jessica is someone who is compassionate, loving, thoughtful and is truly a person who makes an impression on your life. She loves helping other in need and cherishes all of her friendships. Jessica's strength and faith through this challenging time in her life has been beautiful and we believe with no doubt she will win this battle with cancer.

She has begun her radiation and chemotherapy this past week and remains optimistic that this treatment will eliminate her pain and cancer cells. Unfortunately, Jessica is not able to work at this time due to there pain, medication and daily treatments she is going through. Therefore, we have developed this GoFundMe page for Jessica's medical expenses. Our goal is for her to receive treatment and focus and beating cancer without the added stress of her finances.
