Help Jenn Fight Cancer in Style

Hi! My name is Jennifer Greenhut and I am a very recent cancer survivor :) In 2017, I was diagnosed with Stage 4, Triple Negative breast cancer, and as you can guess, it turned my world upside-down! I went through six rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and two months of radiation. This March, I am scheduled for one more surgery, which will include reconstruction and a hysterectomy. It’s been tough, but I am happy to say I am cancer free :)

                                      Last round of chemo

                                Sporting the BALD look :)

                        Family support was AMAZING!!!

Being a cancer patient, I felt extremely powerless. The only control I had was in my attitude, and in how I wanted to “kick cancer's butt”. I was determined to make my negative situation a positive one, and to treat it like a blessing instead of a curse.

Soooooo, I started my own company called Zero Negative
(www.shopzeronegative.com), to raise money for cancer research while promoting love and positive energy into the world through style and fashion.

Our very first fund raiser for cancer research

While going through my cancer treatments, my friend Orit and I designed a tote bag that says “LOVE,” and paid to have a couple hundred bags manufactured. Through our website, we sold out on all of our bags, and were able to raise close to five thousand dollars for cancer research!!! It was so empowering to see an idea blossom, and have it so well-received! Now, I need to take it to the next level… The demand has been so great, I want to manufacture a couple thousand bags! I need $50,000 to produce the bags and grow our company, which in turn will raise a lot more money for cancer research. With this money, we can add a new, vibrant red bag, to go with our classic blush and black Love Totes.

And the newest color...Red

With your help, I can start the production of the new bags, start developing new products, and most importantly, continue to raise funds for cancer research. I am so excited about the next step, I just need your help in getting there!

I mentioned I have one more surgery in March, and then I will officially be a cancer survivor... but who knows if it will come back? I definitely don't think it will. But the unknown definitely fuels my desire to help find a cure. I have met so many cancer survivors in this journey, and I'm sure we all know people who have NOT survived cancer. I truly believe we are very close to finding a cure. But we still need help getting there, and how great would it be if Zero Negative could become a huge help in finding that cure?!

I am so grateful for all of my family, friends, AND doctors who have helped me survive cancer. My life today really feels like a gift, and all I want to do is make sure that I use my gift to give back. I would be extremely grateful for your help in getting Zero Negative off the ground. And who knows?  When there's a will, there's a way!

Thank you for your support, and in listening to my story!  I'll leave you with a short clip of an interview I did on EXTRA TV during breast cancer awareness month...

AND, a Youtube video I made a couple months ago...
