Many of you know my wonderful son, Jeffrey Cockerham. Although he has faced many challenges in his life, he has always maintained a positive attitude and remarkable spirit. From volunteering his time at church, at home, and in our community, so many have benefitted from his humble and giving heart.
For years, he has taken a back seat and watched as many of his friends and family members have enjoyed going away to college and the rich experiences that it offers. Unfortunately, this was not an option for him... until now!
Jeff has a unique opportunity to attend a 2-year program at a local university. Not only will he take classes, live on campus, make new friends, and enjoy all the social activities college has to offer, he will also have an internship opportunity that will help prepare him for his goal of working in sports broadcasting.
Unfortunately, traditional college funding sources are not available for his program. That's where YOU come in. Jeffrey has given so much to so many, and now we have an opportunity to give back to him.
