Please Help Me Lay My Mother to Rest

It saddens me to say this, my Mom, Jane Courage passed away this morning January 23rd at 7:55am. For the past 27 years it has been me and my mom Last week she had a light fall and hurt her ribs. She was staying with me and doing well. Unfortunately on Sunday January 21st I found my mom hunched over in the bathroom barely breathing. My mom died with me there. When the EMT department showed up I had told them that she was dead. Against my wishes they still performed CPR. After almost thirty minutes the EMT’s were able to get a pulse on the way to the hospital. She was intubated without sedation. The heart works independently from the brain. The doctors at the hospital said she was completely brain dead. The doctors couldn’t understand why the EMT’s were trying and succeeded in getting a pulse. The vent was removed and end of life care was given. There was never a feeding tube. She was made comfortable for the last four days her body remained on this earth. It feels like my mom has died twice. Please help me raise funds to lay my mother to rest. Thank you for all your help and support Larisa & Blue Courage Bishop
