Help Jamilah Be a Student Leader!

My name is Jamilah Williams and I am currently a sophomore at South Garland High School.

Because of my outstanding academic performance, I have been selected to represent South Garland High at the National Student Leadership Conference this summer at UC Berkeley. 

While I am very excited to have been chosen for this amazing opportunity, I am faced with the challenge of raising funds for the cost of the program, travel, and expenses. My goal is to raise $3,800 in 3 phases. 

Phase 1: Deposit $350 - due: March 15, 2017 - COMPLETED

Phase 2: Partial tuition $1,000 - due: April 18, 2017

Phase 3: Remaining tuition + expenses $2,450 - due: May 12, 2017

The NSLC will give me the tools I need to excel in my college career by helping me to develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical leadership skills required to achieve my educational and career goals. This program will be instrumental as I pursue a career in journalism. 

I have worked very hard in my academic studies, consistently earning straight A's as well as contributing to my community by regularly volunteering in Wichita, KS, and South Dallas (and surrounding areas).
