HelpJamesFight

This is for a brave little boy, James Yedica, not yet 8 years old. I work with his mother at a nursing home. James sometimes is her helper. He already has touched many lives and now the family needs our help to get through these hard days, weeks, and months ahead. I cried when I heard this unexpected news of his illness, CANCER.
These are heartfelt words from his father:
"I know I like to know what's going on when people post serious stuff, and just not leave vague answers. This is my only way to somehow vent right now as I'm trying to be strong for James.

Spoke with the Dr and finally seen the images of James' chest, it's not good. Gonna take a miracle right now for this to turn positive.

This is more than just a lump, or a chunk..this "mass, or tumor" is huge. It's pushing on his heart, his left lung looks smaller from the tumor surrounding it, and his right lung is pushed way over, along with his esophagus. It's not removeable, when the words Chemo, and cancer get mentioned it makes you sick.... especially for a 7 year old perfect boy.

I'm just broken right now, what do I tell James that makes this any better? Do you know how hard it is to look at such an innocent child and tell them it's ok, when you know it's not? I've been honest with him, he knows this isn't something some cough syrup will fix.
Some things are impossible to comprehend, and I don't know what the next few months will bring, I really don't. Just be thankful for everything you have and cherish every day, all it takes is one X-Ray to change your life."
