Help: Isa's Med and Home Expenses
Hello everyone, my name is Rachel but some people online know me as Jade.
On May 8, 2016, I had to take my boyfriend, Isa (who's real name is Mitchell) to the hospital for breathing problems and chest pains. He has been hospitalized for heart and kidney issues and was discharged May 10, 2016. He wad diagnosed with Type 2 Diabeties, along with High Blood Pressure.
During that time, he couldnt call work to let them know he wasnt going to be in, so they more than likely have terminated him. (He worked for Walmart for only 3 weeks and they have a no toloerance policy for No Call No Show). and if even he could go back to work, doctors told him to stay away from what he was doing. I dont work as of yet, Im having to look for work.
Mitch still has 2 more proceedures that need to be done to fully make sure there isnt any more damage that was done when his body was stressed. The first proceedure is an Endoscope on May 27, but we will have to get his prep done the day before because he has to drink "Go Gently" (?) to clean his system out. and depending the results from that (he had anemia when he was admitted and they need to check to see if the diabeties is messing with his kidneys and not bleeding anywhere) he will have a Heart Cath done to check for any damage or clots. Both proceedures are to be done in Shreveport, LA, a city that is 1.5 - 2 hours away. (He was suppose to have the Heart Cath done the other day but since his kidneys are damaged they cant use they dye or it would had put him in full kidney failure.)
So as of today, we have NO MONEY. The amount I entered here is for rent and bills plus gas and possible medical expenses (i.e. medications, travel expenses) for 2 MONTHS. I hope to have a job soon though and if even if I did have a job, I would probably only making minimum wage which is not much at all.
I wish I could offer something in return but right now I dont have anything to give nor the time to do it.
