Update

We are heartbroken to share the news that Josh lost his battle with brain cancer on Wednesday 24th January, after a two-year rollercoaster fight against it. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, friends, parents, four children – Jayden, Cooper, Matilda, Lola, and his wife Jo.

Since his diagnosis Josh never wanted anyone to feel sad for him and just kept being Josh, never losing his sense of humour, his warmth and carried on being the same great dad, son, and husband to Jo that he always was. In between rounds of treatment, he took his kids on holidays they’ll never forget, planned for the future, supported his soulmate Jo, watched his kids win their school awards and kept being the guy you wanted to be around.

Last December, just over a month before his passing, Josh celebrated his 40th birthday with a big party- A special night made only more special with the addition of a surprise wedding, marrying his wife, Jo.

Josh fought hard against a cruel disease that took him too soon. He should be here with us right now, but sadly he is not.

For those who are left without Josh in their lives, especially his wife Jo, the hardest part has just begun. She has lost her soulmate, her partner, her friend, the man who made her laugh and feel loved. Jo has worked beyond what anyone should have to do to keep a normal life for her family during Josh’s illness. She is generous, gracious, and not very good at asking for help.

So, we ask you to help support this amazing family. Giving to them will help them grieve, ease the burden, and provide the support they need. They have four children who will miss their dad every day, and to face the challenges and joys of life.

Thanks xxx

Two weeks ago Josh suffered a seizure while driving. He lost consciousness and had no idea what had happened when he came to in the ambulance. Josh was taken to hospital where he was told there was swelling on his brain. After more tests and scans it was revealed that Josh has a brain tumour.

Surgery has been booked for next week and then it’s the road to recovery. We all know Josh is a proud man but I think I can speak on everyone’s behalf when I say that this is the very least we can do to help out. So please, let’s all spare a few bucks to help out and relieve a bit of financial stress for this wonderful family.

Your kindness and support is much appreciated.

You got this Josh!!
