Nursing for a family
Donation protected
Hi everyone, we are nursing students from Jersey College School of Nursing. Even though we have only known each other for a short period of time we have grown very close to each other. Like any other college student many of us have made financial and family sacrifices to go to school; however, there is one particular student that stands out in our class.
He is a husband to a beautiful wife, and also a super hero dad to four amazing girls between the ages of two and ten. This man works double shifts every weekend so he can be focused and strive in all his classes during the week. After class-with his free time, he takes the opportunity to seek tutoring or just study in the library.
During class he always has an awakening smile, keeps the class alive with funny comments, and a warm personality. If he sees a classmate struggling or frustrated his encouragement and kind words helps us as fellow students to manage throughout the day. Every day he reminds us we are here for a purpose, to become magnificent nurses.
Many people would not even realize behind that big smile he is dealing with his own struggles. His wife was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer three years ago. She is unable to work making him the sole provider for his family. Although his wife is remaining strong fighting her battle it seems as though her condition has become worse.
We are reaching out for donations so that way we can ensure that his wife, kids and himself can relax and enjoy a memorable holiday altogether. Thank-you so much for reading this we also appreciate any and all shares we are using
