A HELPING HAND FOR JACOB

I am starting this campaign for Jacob Kamelamela.  He is the little brother of my son and daughter.  The love I have for him is the kind of LOVE you have for a favorite nephew.   Jacob was in a really bad Polaris accident on Feb 18th 2018. Trying to hold on for his life he grabbed the over head bar and ended up tearing the skin back from his hand.  Exposing everything underneath his skin.  All of his nerves, tendons, and muscles were severed at the wrist.  After several surgeries and attemps to save his hand, the infection started to spread and the palm and 4 fingers had to be amputated.  He has one more surgery to try a save his thumb. He is only 15  years old with his whole life ahead of him.  Living without his left hand will be a challege for him. He is so full of life and love we want  him to be able to have fun and create the memories that come from being a teenager  and  living life to the fullest. I know his journey ahead is going take all the courage GOD put inside of him. He is the strongest 15 year old and continues to keep his head up. Everybody is hoping and praying for him right now, With hopes of him feeling  the LOVE and SUPORRT that he is covered in. If anything is going to weigh him down, its going to be the blanket of LOVE and ENCOURAGEMENT he will feel from family, friends and his community.   He is  going to need a prosthetic hand and with the help of family and community I know we can reach this goal. The funds will assist him with fittings and maunfacturing of a left prosthesis and rehabilitation to use it.   Our main goal is getting lil Jacob back to the part of life that is about making memories with people he loves, and living out his teenage years without  anything stopping him from putting both hands on the steering wheel when taking his drivers test for the first time when getting his liscense, or tieing his own shoes, or buttoning up his levis, or shirts.  Putting his tie on for prom, holding his girlfriends hand.  And finally giving each one of you a HIGH 5 after reaching this goal.
