I’ve spent many years fund-raising for organizations like Habitat, AIDS Foundation and East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry.  This is the first time someone I love needs help.  Harrison’s godfather Ruben Perez’ is one of the best men I know and his husband Hal Carroll has valiantly been fighting brain cancer for the past 11 months.  He’s been in the hospital for 3 months, but now he will be coming home to begin hospice.  We are heart broken.  In the midst of all of this, the reality is that insurance can only cover so much and expenses are piling up.  Please consider being a part of this effort to bring  Jerry and Hal comfort and care in Hal's remaining time, whatever that may be.
