Helping Your Friendly Castro Neighbor The Detour!!

The Covid-19 (Corona) virus is effecting all of our daily lives both in and outside of work. Some of the Individuals most immediately effected and hardest hit are the people working at our favorite restaurants, and bars. Spaces like The Detour where all of us congregate and come together to enjoy some of our most fun and memorable times are now having to carry the weight with helping many of its out of work staff due to a "Shelter In Place" state mandated ordinance.  Just like many businesses The Detour has closed to protect all public health measures putting  nearly all of its staff in a position without the income necessary to pay for basic things like rent and bills.  We work in an industry that relies on the nightly or weekly influx of cash to keep us going.

Any generosity goes a long way in times like these. With all the help from regular patrons, and the entire community looking for ways to directly help in this time of need we've decided this was the best answer.
