Hello, I'm Sage, Tiffany's daughter. On October 13, 2025 after routine house cleaning, my mom said she was experiencing stroke like symptoms. She became dizzy, confused and disoriented with weakness down here left side, chest pains, and a terrible headache. Later that evening when symptoms didn't let up she drove herself to the hospital and told me (her daughter), "I'm going to just check things out and be sure it's not just anxiety. "
My mother was never released. After several brain scans and multiple MRIs over a course of several days stroke and aneurysm was ruled out. However neurologists found a progressive disease that resembled these symptoms and the severity of it was unbelievable. My mom was told she needed emergency multi- level cervical surgery immediately or she'd be paralyzed with permanent, irreversible damage.
She stayed positive, hopeful, and full of love and light through the entire process. Her surgery was performed but an unexpected turn took place. Doctors were unable to wake her for a period of time and as they put it, "She was slipping away." By God's grace, she was finally awakened and kept in observation to be sure she would awake. When Dr.s were no longer concerned they began her healing process. She's home resting and recovery will be a challenge- 3-6 months, with full recovery close to 1 1/2 years.
If you know my mom you know she's determined. So even though she was unable to walk for the first few days she's now walking with our assistance or a walker (which she says isn't for the fabulous lol) and she is able to eat much more. Her cognitive is in tact and we believe things will get better in the name of Jesus day by day and we're praying that there isn't any significant permanent damage as the months pass by. She's even determined to try and read 3 chapters for her law class because she doesn't want to fall behind.
Even with this great praise report, help for my mom is truly needed. We all know she's "too proud to ask" but I ask, as her daughter on her behalf, if any of you find it in your heart to assist in her time of need please donate. Anything helps and you know she'd be there for you all if and when she could. Funds go directly to her account and will help to pay some of her essential bills that will still need to be paid as she's recovering.
I appreciate those that love my mom, have checked on my mom, and have been praying for her.
Sage
