Hi, my name is Xander, I will be 13 in November. I was diagnosed at 4yrs old with Type 1 Diabetes. Then at 9 yrs I starting having chronic issues and was diagnosed with a very RARE disease called S.P.S. which is Stiff Person Syndrome. Even more rare in children. Only a handful of people in the world have it.....like Céline Dion and me..... At this time there is no cure, we have to do our best to control the symptoms as they arise. We endure intense Chronic Pain and ALL kinds problems that come along with this crazy neurological, auto-immune and physiological disease. One of the extreme consequences is my hip has rotated and shorten my leg 3 inches which makes it difficult walking. I have a lot medical issues that take money and time to deal with. The expenses are many. Some things are covered with insurance; most treatments are not. We need a Service Dog to help me with daily movement, pain and at night with my diabetes.
