Helping Wyatt Overcome a Devastating Accident

Donation protected
Wyatt, our family's only nephew and grandchild, loves anything with an engine. From the time he was learning to talk, he was constantly asking mechanical questions and counting the days until he could get his driver's license. Whether behind the wheel, under the hood, or talking shop at the auto parts store he worked at, automobiles aren't just a hobby for Wyatt– they're a core part of who he is.

This past summer, Wyatt and his grandpa embarked on a project to rebuild a 1986 Toyota pickup truck. It was a labor of love, a bonding experience, and test of his mechanical skills. The only thing that made Wyatt happier than completing the rebuild was when his grandpa gifted him the Toyota to be his daily driver.

This truck, a symbol of Wyatt's dedication for automotive work and his importance to the family.

Tragically, while driving his newly restored pickup on November 9th, 2023, Wyatt was involved in a terrible accident when crossing Highway 30 in rural Idaho.

After being air lifted to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Wyatt was rushed into the ER. Wyatt's critical injuries include permanent hearing loss in one ear and significant brain trauma. Following complications, he is currently in a medically-induced coma for at least 5 days and is expected to be in the hospital for at least a month if not significantly longer.

Wyatt and our family is facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. The challenges are not just medical, but financial.

The hospital is a nearly 3 hour drive from Wyatt's home. His mother, a self-employed hair dresser, is able to step away from work to be with him. Wyatt's father lives a couple hours away & will be missing work. The distance from their homes will incur travel and lodging expenses on top of the critical care he is receiving.

We are reaching out for your support to help Wyatt in his race to recovery. Your contributions will directly aid in managing medical expenses and supporting what is sure to be an extensive rehabilitation process.

Your support means the world to us, and we commit to keeping you updated on Wyatt's condition and progress. Every donation, message, and share brings light to our challenging journey.

Your generosity can make a significant difference in Wyatt's life, helping him and our family face this unexpected and life-altering journey.

Together we can help him find his way back to the life that he loves, surrounded by engines, nature, and family.
