Life threw us something unexpected recently—we found a sweet dog with no owner in sight. We searched everywhere, but no one came forward. She’s now part of our family, and we couldn’t be happier to have her. We have officially named her Mazzy. Unfortunately, when we brought her to the vet, we learned she had hookworm and whipworm. With medication, she’s thankfully doing much better, but she still needs to be spayed.

At the same time, my heart is heavy as we prepare to say goodbye to my sweet girl, Jay, in the next couple of weeks. On top of that, my hospital bills are already in collections, and it’s been a struggle to juggle everything all at once.

I’ve never created a GoFundMe before, but I’m reaching out in the hope that it might help cover these unexpected vet expenses and ease some of the burden during such an emotional time. Any support—whether through a donation or simply sharing this page—would mean more than I can put into words.
